GTCCC INTERCLUB

The GTCCC Interclub Competition is open to members of all GTCCC Member Clubs in good standing, i.e., dues paid in accordance with the GTCCC By-laws. The competition has five categories: Nature Projection, Natural Things Projection,Pictorial Projection, Colour Prints, and Monochrome Prints.

Individual Category Awards

In each of the 5 categories there will be up to a maximum of 5 top awards and a quantity of Honourable Mentions. The total number of awards in each category will not be greater than 10% of the accepted images in that category. An accepted image is one which scores 15 points or higher. The 5 top awards in each of the 5 categories will be: one first place award, one second place award, one third place award, maximum of 2 "best of" awards, honourable mentions equalling between 4% and 8% of the accepted entries.

Club Category Awards

These are awarded to the top club in each of Nature, Natural Things, Pictorial, Colour Print, & Monochrome Print category. The summation of the highest score by 6 different makers in each club determines each Club Category winner. If there is a tie, then the highest score by 7 different makers determines the winning club, etc., until a clear winner is determined.

FREEDMAN TROPHY

The Freedman trophy is awarded to top club in the competition. The summation of the highest score by 12 different makers in each club determines the Freedman Trophy winning club. If there is a tie, then the highest score by 13 different makers determines the winning club, etc., until a clear winner is determined.

PHOTOGRAPHER OF THE YEAR

This is awarded to the entrant who has submitted at least one image in all five categories up to the maximum of 10 submitted images and has achieved the highest total point count.

GTCCC/NFRCC INTER REGIONAL COMPETITION

This is an annual inter regional competition between the GTCCC and the NFRCC in Western New York. The location will be alternated every year between Ontario and New York.

The competition has three categories: Nature Projection, Pictorial Projection and Prints. Gold, Silver and Bronze medals are awarded for first, second and third in each category, as well as a category award for the region with the highest score in the category, and finally the Chairman's Award is presented to the region with the highest total score for all categories.
